Isis Barakat

Psychotherapist specializing in dance and movement therapy (M.A.)

Hello, I'm Isis Barakat, a psychotherapist specializing in dance and movement therapy, holding a Master's degree (M.A.). I offer individual therapy for adolescents and adults, accompanying them through psychological and emotional challenges, life crises, and difficulties with emotional regulation, alongside paths aimed at strengthening self-awareness and personal growth.

My work is grounded in an integrative therapeutic approach that combines therapeutic dialogue, body awareness, and movement work - starting from a view of the body as an essential part of the psychological and emotional experience. By listening to the body's and movement's signals, it becomes possible to reach a deeper understanding of feelings, inner experiences, and the patterns that shape a person's life.

I believe that a safe therapeutic relationship, built on trust, respect, and professional presence, forms the foundation for an effective therapeutic process - one that allows a person to explore their experiences, develop tools for facing challenges, and strengthen their inner resources toward lasting change and growth.
